Korn drummer David Silveria is going on a temporary hiatus, leaving the band to tape their MTV “Unplugged” episode with a new member.
Silveria said that he just needs “a break for right now,” according to a press release.
The other members of the rock band, Jonathan Davis, Diely and Munkey, are heading to the studio to record a new album, and will organize their annual Family Values Tour for next summer.
The Cure and Amy Lee from Evanescence will perform with Korn on the “Unplugged” special, which is set to air early next year.
