The New Jersey Nets defeated the Utah Jazz 116-115 on the road on Monday. The Nets improved to 22-23 for the season, while the Jazz dropped to 29-17. Nets forward Vince Carter lead New Jersey in scoring with 33 points and also had three rebounds and three assists. Point guard Jason Kidd recorded a double double with 22 points and ten rebounds for the Nets as well. Utah point guard Deron Williams lead the Jazz in scoring with 25 points and also had six assists. Forward Paul Milsap scored 16 points with 12 rebounds coming off the bench for the Jazz in the loss.
