Jets edge Dolphins 31-28
The New York Jets held off the Miami Dolphins on Sunday with a final score of 31-28. The win was the Jets first all season, giving them a record of 1-2. The Dolphins fell to 0-3. The Dolphins started to come back from a 13-31 deficit in the fourth quarter with two touchdowns from Ronnie Brown. The team was not able to overcome the Jets, however. Brown had a total of three touchdowns in Sundays loss. New York quarterback Chad Pennington threw for two touchdowns and ran for another in the win. Leon Washington scored the teams other touchdown on a 98-yard kick return.
