The Toronto Blue Jays beat the Cleveland Indians 1-0 on Sunday. The game was scoreless until the bottom of the ninth. The Blue Jays are now just under .500 with a 43-44 record, while the Indians 52-36.
A miscommunication by Cleveland pitcher Paul Byrd allowed Toronto's Reed Johnson to hit a double in the bottom of the ninth. Johnson scored a run on Alex Rios' single.
