The Cincinnati Reds went into eleven innings to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-3 on Sunday. The Reds improved their record to 36-52. The Diamondbacks are now 47-43. Chris Young put Arizona on the board with his solo homer in the seventh inning. In the ninth, Miguel Montero tied up the score at 3-3 with an RBI and a run, sending the game into extra innings. Cincinnati took a quick 2-0 lead with Scott Hatteberg's solo homer in the first and David Ross' solo homer in the second. After a scoreless tenth inning, Hatteberg hit a single in the eleventh to send Edwin Encarnacion home and win the game.
