The Oakland Athletics lost to the Seattle Mariners 10-14 on Sunday. The A’s dropped to 49-56 on the season while the Mariners improved their record to 57-46.

Shannon Stewart had a solo homer in the fifth for the Athletics. Stewart also had an RBI in the seventh. Mike Piazza drove in three runs for Oakland in the loss.

Adrian Beltre and Ben Broussard each homered for the Mariners. In addition to his home run, Beltre added two more runs and three RBIs.
